Award Winning Novels - hurrah!

We keep having to pinch ourselves this end, 2011 has been an amazing year here at Choc Lit. It started off with Trade Winds by Christina Courtenay being short-listed for The Romantic Novelists’ Association’s Best Historical Read for 2011. Plus this month Christina won The Big Red Reads Best Historical Fiction Award with The Scarlet Kimono and Juliet won their Fiction Award with The Importance of Being Emma. And what’s more, Sue won Best Romantic Read at the Festival of Romance for Love & Freedom beating Carole Matthews (sorry Carole). What an amazing year for awards. They mean so much to us all at Choc Lit and we only have you the readers to thank. It’s proof that our strategy is working and that the novels chosen by our Tasting Panel (genuine readers like yourselves) are winning awards. A big thank you to our readers, bloggers, twitter and facebook friends, our very own Tasting Panel and of course, our wonderful authors.
